The meaning of Spa is undefined. Some people called it Sanitas Per Aquam, means health through water. Others said that it's the name of a small village in East Belgium, that has mineral spring water. The water is beleved can healed any kind of disease. The facts is that the origin of spa is come from East Belgium for the first time.

Ancient Rome used spa for healing pain and relaxation after daily routine. Hydrotherapy is the common used at that time. Lying at a wood buthtub filled with warm water and mixed herb.
